With applications now open for the 2022 Hub Australia Flexi Impact membership program, providing complimentary memberships and support to purpose-driven businesses, we checked in with our 2019 participant and co-founder of Good On You, Sandra Caponi, to find out how being part of our program has helped the business.
Good On You is an app-based ethical fashion directory and rating platform that helps equip consumers with tools to make conscious choices for their wardrobes and the planet.
What were some of Good On You’s biggest wins in 2019?
2019 was a massive year for Good On You!
We announced Emma Watson as our official supporter, our co-founder received “badass” status from Instyle magazine, our brand rating system was endorsed by six leading industry bodies, and we acquired Dutch brand comparison site Rank-a-brand.
We’ve reached millions of shoppers to help them buy more sustainably.
We were also selected to participate in Farfetch’s Dream Assembly accelerator in London and we closed our seed investment round, setting Good On You up for the next period of product development and growth.
Have you made any new connections since becoming a Hub member?
Yes, lots!
From fellow social entrepreneurs to experts in fashion tech and investment – each connection has been unique but really valuable.
I was also able to connect with some of our existing business partners already located at Hub who I’ve never had the chance to meet face to face, until now!
What have been some of your favourite things about working out of Hub?
It’s definitely inspiring to work alongside so many other innovators.
I’ve felt really supported by the amazing Hub team who’ve welcomed me into the community and given me lots of opportunities to take advantage of everything that Hub has to offer.
Access to the space and the facilities has also been incredibly useful, allowing me to meet clients in a professional setting and focus on what’s important – growing Good On You!
What advice would you give to anyone considering applying for the 2022 Flexi Impact Program?
