About the role:

The Clubhouse Manager ensures smooth operations across the Clubhouse, whilst motivating and leading their team to continually exceed business objectives, financial targets, and member deliverables. The Clubhouse Manager will take the lead to ensure the Clubhouse is a collaborative environment that is fully operational, whilst driving retention, growth, and promotion of Hub’s member services.

Our Clubhouse Manager will be a natural leader who thrives on getting the most out of their team. They have a strong ability to manage multiple competing priorities and enjoy being across all facets of the Clubhouse’s operations. The ideal candidate is driven to fill our Clubhouse with members and understands the importance of creating and maintaining an engaged community, whilst also having financial acumen to navigate complex profit and loss accounts.

 

The purpose of the role:

  • Nurture a thriving team culture by supporting continuous learning, training, and development for your team to ensure employee satisfaction and retention
  • Develop community initiatives designed to create connections between members, including introductions, communications, and overseeing events to ensure there is a good balance of topical, charitable, and member-related events at a local level
  • Work with your team to deliver a customer experience that is so great that people want to recommend us to others
  • Take ownership for member retention metrics, implementation of initiatives to improve stats, and consistently working towards 100% occupancy and reduced churn rates
  • Seek out new business development opportunities via networking events
  • Supervise all member movements to ensure we offer a quality experience to our members
  • Make recommendations to our physical space on any repairs, maintenance, or updates required for the Clubhouse
  • Know and be able to implement safety plans, i.e. fire and emergency plans
  • Complete month-end P&L audit reports for your General Manager, ensuring revenue targets and EBITDA is met or exceeded
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and coordinate regular variance statements

Key skills & experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing a diverse team
  • Previous sales and business development experience
  • A strong desire to take ownership of all facets of Clubhouse operations
  • Experience in P&L ownership
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities whilst remaining solutions focused
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail along with strong time management skills
  • A passion for growing business and engagement in the entrepreneurial ecosystem
  • Previous experience at the managerial level in a coworking or shared office provider is highly regarded
  • Experience with internal stakeholders and third-party partners and suppliers
