A friendly and passionate barista, Alex studied business management at university. Having worked in the hospitality for industry for seven years, he prides himself on presenting you with the perfect brew every time!

HR Lead

Bringing a background in hospitality and a degree in Business, Alice is all about excellent customer service. You will find her at the beach during the summer and at the MCG cheering on the Demons in the winter.

Hospitality Lead, Hub ANzac square

Allie has worked in the coffee industry for 14 years and provides amazing coffee every time! She studied creative writing and English literature, and is often found with her kitten, at brunch, or at the gym.

Annabel Jones
Front-of-House / Barista, Hub Southern Cross

Annabel has over 10 years experience in hospitality and loves every minute of it. She also loves pub trivia, seeing and performing live music, and meeting people from across the globe.

Space Lead, Hub Hyde Park

Cameron has a background working for automation startups and is passionate about creating a great space for Hub’s growing companies to innovate. On the weekend you’ll find him with friends or enjoying the outdoors.

Community Lead, Hub Hyde Park

Celia has a background in Real Estate, Facilitation and Hospitality, and holds a degree in Criminology. In her spare time, you’ll find her spending time with friends, watching a documentary or listening to comedy.

Space Lead, Hub Collins Street

Chloe has more than 10 years of experience in hospitality and retail. She is passionate about providing high level and empathetic-centric customer service. Outside of work, she is enthusiastic about language learning, martial arts, and gaming.

Daniel Amari
Front of House & Barista, Sydney

Daniel is passionate about coffee and thoroughly enjoys bringing caffeinate to those in need. He also loves spending time in the snow and is an avid snowboarder.

Daniel O’Hehir
National Facilities & Small Works Manager

Daniel has 13 years of experience in Facilities Management with a background in Fit-Out Project Management. He’s passionate about workspaces and creating efficiencies through processes, and also runs a business specialising in photorealistic murals.

Dave Heays
National Hospitality Manager

With a lifetime of hospitality experience and a degree in hospitality management, Dave is all about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences for our café, events and guests, and always goes out of his way to surprise and delight!

Duncan Stevenson
Chief Financial Officer

Duncan has supported growing disruptive business for over 20 years as an accountant and consultant, and is now looking after all things financial as Hub grows. He is happiest on the ocean or knee-deep in snow.

Erin Guo
Accounting Administrator

Since completing her accounting degree, Erin has worked in the industry for over five years. Outside of work, she loves cooking and exploring different styles of cuisines.

Georgia McDonnell
Space Lead, Hub Adelaide

Georgia has degrees in Media and Arts and qualifications in fashion styling. She is driven to establish lasting relationships, create friendly and productive atmospheres, and loves to learn by taking short courses.

Jack Quinn
Hospitality Lead, Hub Southern Cross

Jack has been making coffee since he was 14, and comes to Hub Australia via London. Outside of work, he’s interested in soccer, movies, and music.

Accounting Business Partner

With experience in accounts and operations, Janet has worked in various industries ranging from technology to hospitality. She loves to travel, learn new languages and discover new food.

Jeff Lopez
Space Lead, Hub Customs House

Jeff has a background in marine science and hospitality. He enjoys interacting with all the different people at Hub and he loves a chat and a pint!

John Preece
Chief Property Officer

John leads a team responsible for securing new sites, the refurbishment and fitout of spaces to create amazing environments for Hub Australia members, managing our technology infrastructure and ongoing portfolio management.

Laura Weale
Space Lead, Hub Anzac Square

Originally from Birmingham, Laura has lived in Brisbane for three years and has eight years of experience in hospitality. Outside of work she paints, draws, and cooks, and loves the outdoors, travelling, and music.

Leah has been in the hospitality industry for six years. A very active morning person, she loves seeing people first thing in the morning to get them ready for a big day!

With over 17 years experience throughout APAC working for leading corporate and retail clients, Lina is a passionate designer with great attention to detail, resultsing in solutions that are flexible, durable and efficient.

Liz Smith
Non-Executive Director

Liz Smith has extensive experience in accounting, audit, corporate finance, and consulting. Her career spans roles at Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, and William Buck, spanning multiple industry sectors. Liz is also currently on the Victorian Regional Council of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and on the Finance Committee of the Australian Red Cross.

 

Margo Smyth
Barista, Hub Anzac Square

With 8 years of hospitality and barista experience, Margo is sure to deliver your perfect caffeine hit every time. Outside of work she enjoys trying new restaurants and cafés, painting, DIY, and a strong G&T.

Marie-Laure Miro
Facilities & CAPEX Lead

Marie-Laure is all about efficiency, human-centred design and creating spaces that foster innovation and creativity. She holds a degree in Psychology and Management from McGill in Canada, and has a love for all things cooking and food.

Natalie Low
Concierge, Hub Hyde Park

Originally from Canada, Natalie has worked amongst various roles throughout the hospitality industry. She is passionate about travelling and meeting new people along the way. You’ll always find her with a smile!

After starting her career in the property industry, Olivia moved onto project management and delivery. With experience bringing hospitality, commercial, and coworking spaces to life, she brings a plethora of information to her role.

Non-Executive Board Member

Paul Migliorini was most recently at Amazon as Managing Director of AWS ANZ where he helped grow the largest cloud business in ANZ with over 100,000 customers. He has also been the ANZ CEO of IWG (previously Regus), Managing Director at BT (ANZ and ASEAN), and is currently also on the board of Versent and a Venture Partner with OIF.

Coming from a background in startups and coworking, Sam is passionate about community engagement and supporting businesses to make an impact. Sam’s a keen snowboarder, photographer, and bushwalker.
