What’s the difference between a coworking desk and an office?

Our coworking desks are located in a shared, open-plan space, alongside other businesses and professionals. They can be used as a hot desk for you and your team, or you can purchase a membership that gives you access to a dedicated desk for use by you and your team only.

Our offices are private, locked spaces featuring a number of desks that can be fully-customised, branded, and accessed on a 24/7 basis. 

All of our coworking locations offer both options, so you can pick which is most suitable for your needs.

What are the membership options available at Hub?

We have a range of membership options available to suit all types of businesses, team sizes, and hybrid work arrangements. If you’re looking for a private workspace, our offices and suites are secure, fully-customisable spaces that can be accessed 24/7. If you’re looking for a desk in a shared workspace, you can choose a Dedicated Desk or select from our Flexi Membership options. If you’re after occasional access, try our Day Pass or Lounge membership.

I can’t make it in for an in-person tour, can I see your locations virtually?

If you can’t make it in for a tour, you can see a virtual tour of each of our locations on our website. The virtual tour is interactive, and lets you click through each level to view the rooms and spaces available.  

Can I hire your meeting and event spaces even though I’m not a Hub member?

Anyone can hire our meeting and event spaces, you don’t have to be a Hub member. You can view and book the meeting spaces across our national locations by heading to the meeting and event space page. Our meeting and event spaces are available for hire by the hour, half day, or full day, with a number of spaces available for after-hours events.

Can I use a Hub location for just one day?

If you’d like to work from a Hub location for just one day, you can purchase a Day Pass, which gives you access to a flexible work area at your chosen location between 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays. With a Day Pass, you can utilise our member kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee, and book serviced meeting spaces with a 25% discount.

Do you have bike storage?

Most of our locations have ample bike storage and modern end-of-trip facilities. To check if your desired Hub workspace has bike storage, head to its location page on our website.

Can I bring guests?

You can bring guests to our coworking spaces during business hours only, for up to two hours. If they’d like to stay for longer than two hours, they’ll need to purchase a Visitor Day Pass from the welcome desk.

Can I work from any Hub location if I’m a Hub member?

If you’re using Day Passes or are on a Flexi Lite or Flexi National Membership, you can access the shared workspaces at any Hub location across the country. A Lounge membership also enables you to work from any Hub location, however just from the café and lounge areas. For those on Flexi City Memberships, access is provided to any Hub within the members’ home state. On a Dedicated Desk, or Office membership you receive access to Hub’s Passport Program, allowing you to book a complimentary Day Pass to any interstate location, with access between 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays.

Can I bring my dog?

All of our coworking spaces are dog-friendly, excluding Hub Wynyard, Hub Customs House and Hub Martin Place. If you’d like to bring your dog to work, you just need to book a Dog Pass on the member portal so we can manage the number of dogs around our spaces, and prepare enough snacks.

Are your coworking spaces secure?

All of our coworking spaces have 24/7 CCTV footage, secure passes for access to the space, private offices and meeting rooms, and a welcome desk attended by a concierge from 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
