Businesses all around Adelaide, and indeed the world, are learning to adjust as the environment quickly changes due to COVID-19’s immense impact. With a number of programs and resources available on a state-basis, Hub Australia has collated some of the best for you to access.

Adelaide City Council | Support For Businesses

Adelaide City Council have responded to the challenges of COVID-19 by creating a number of programs and new arrangements for businesses and leaseholders in the city, and helping minimise risk by launching a touch-free reduced-rate parking program for those in the CBD.

Adelaide’s Council has also established a Small Business Task Force who will be working with Business SA, providing consistent and up-to-date information on support packages and other services made available from a range of Government and Industry bodies and associations.

State Government Department of Business | Economic Response Package

The State Government has crafted a $1 billion stimulus package in order to help drive the economy, secure jobs and support multiple industries through COVID-19’s impact.

It includes a Jobs Rescue Package with two new funds; a $300m Business and Jobs Support Fund, and a $250m Community and Jobs Support Fund.

The former will be used to assist businesses and sectors who are at risk of collapse due to COVID-19 and necessary restrictions, and the Community and Jobs Support Fund will work to help community organisations and assist in training South Australians seeking new skills, as well as aiding organisations dealing with emergency relief.

The South Australian Tourism Commission | Industry Support

With tourism as a major industry in South Australia, the Tourism Commission has compiled a page of resources, policies, and travel advice that is regularly updated for businesses to refer to.
