In 2013, Hub became one of the first B Corporations in Australia, and the first coworking provider in the country to earn the badge. At the time, B Corps were rare, especially in our industry. For us, it was a no-brainer — and while others are now catching up, we’ve always led the way.

Years and multiple recertifications later, our commitment to purpose-led business has only grown stronger. Following our most recent B Corp recertification in 2025, we’re continuing to raise the bar. Each year, we critically assess our operations to go beyond what’s required. Certification is important, but it’s not the end goal. It’s a foundation we build from every day.

Sustainability, backed by action

Becoming the first carbon neutral coworking provider in Australia was a proud milestone. But it’s only the beginning. Through building-wide initiatives and sustainable design choices, we’re taking real steps to reduce emissions and operate more responsibly. With the launch of Hub North Adelaide we’re taking those values even further — designing a space that supports local communities and brings flexible work closer to home. By helping people skip long commutes, we’re lowering their carbon footprint while reinvesting in the rhythms of local business life. It’s a more sustainable way to work, and a smarter one too.

Purpose, embedded in practice

Our Flexi Impact program offers complimentary memberships to purpose-driven organisations— a direct reflection of our belief that business should be a force for good. That belief shapes our procurement, partnerships and everyday decisions. We’ve also amended our company constitution to embed our B Corp obligations, ensuring we consider all stakeholders in every decision we make.

Looking ahead: building better, every day

Our ESG strategy is guiding the next chapter of our impact. From strengthening our reconciliation and DEIB commitments, to rethinking how we track and improve supply chain sustainability, we’re focused on long-term, measurable progress. It’s not performative. It’s not for appearances. We do this because we know a more inclusive, sustainable workplace isn’t just better for business — it’s better for people, and better for the planet.
