Workplaces thrive when DEIB is embedded, not sidelined.

Across the globe, some organisations are winding back their focus on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), treating it like a trend that has run its course.

At Hub, we take the opposite view. In a climate where progress is slowing, our commitment is more important than ever. We believe a supportive environment isn’t just a “nice-to-have”, it is empowering.

A Long-Term Commitment, Not a Passing Initiative

Workplaces thrive when DEIB is embedded, not sidelined. While some corporate efforts have been surface-level or short-lived, we view these values as a fundamental way to build a stronger business.

Exclusionary policies don’t just harm people; they hold businesses back. Conversely, we have seen that inclusive workplaces lead to stronger collaboration, more innovation, and higher productivity. We aren’t pulling back. We’re raising the bar by creating authentic professional communities where people can truly be themselves.

Embedding DEIB into Everything We Do

Fostering an inclusive environment for our team and our members is at the core of our operations. We turn those values into action through tangible initiatives across our locations.

For our neurodiverse colleagues, we provide sensory kits, dedicated quiet zones, and diverse workspace options to ensure everyone can work at their best. We also honour our shared cultural heritage through meaningful acknowledgements of events like Lunar New Year and NAIDOC Week across all Clubhouses.

Our commitment to leadership is reflected in the Women’s Business Connection program, which champions female leaders. Similarly, our RELAX events offer curated low and no-alcohol selections to ensure every gathering is welcoming for everyone.

Most recently, we introduced Gender Affirmation Leave, offering dedicated support for trans and gender-diverse team members navigating healthcare. This is a clear example of how we back our team with real, lasting policies.

Building the Future of Work

These efforts are why we have been recognised as a Great Place to Work eight years in a row. We know that when people feel heard, supported, and empowered, the whole community grows.

At Hub, DEIB isn’t a trend. It is a responsibility, and it is the foundation of everything we build for the future of work.
