Sydney Film Festival, one of the world’s longest-running film festivals, is turning 71 this year. It’s been a phenomenal run that has given us incredible films, such as The New Boy (2023), The Final Quarter (2019) and Tehran Taxi (2015), just to name a few.

This year, we’re proud to play a part in the ultimate celebration of cinema as the 2024 Official On-Screen Advertising Partner of SFFTV in Martin Place.

The centrepoint for Sydney cinema culture

At Hub Australia, we love facilitating experiences that break down the office walls, elevating the workday experience beyond the day-to-day. Which is why we’re always looking for ways to bring the best parts of the city to our members. And our involvement with the Sydney Film Festival does just that.

This year, we’re proud to play a part in the Sydney Film Festival as an Official On-Screen Advertising Partner of SFFTV at Martin Place

“The Sydney Film Festival is a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and the power of cinema to inspire, entertain, and provoke thought,” says Rebekah Murphy, CXO of Hub Australia.

“From Hollywood to home-grown talent, it provides the opportunity to explore new voices, perspectives, and cinematic styles. We’re proud to be involved in something that enhances the cultural landscape of Sydney.”

With Sydney Film Festival’s long legacy of capturing pivotal moments in time and culture,  the On-Screen Advertising partnership secured by Hub is a testament to our ongoing commitment to providing workplace experiences that are elevated, considered and coveted.

Giving back and building up

Supporting local businesses and local cultural events is an important way for us to give back to our local community. At the same time, it allows us to keep our members engaged and up-to-date with what’s happening around them, building up a stronger sense of connection and belonging.

It’s why our lifestyle concierge service at Hub Martin Place exists: to help connect our members with a range of lifestyle services and cultural experiences. Our involvement in the Sydney Film Festival signals our intention to continue focus in this area, blending hospitality with premium amenity.

“Our members aren’t coming into the office just to work. They’re looking for connection, collaboration, community, inspiration – and more,” says Rebekah, adding that Hub is here to support our members to achieve their professional goals while taking care of their lifestyle and wellbeing.

Don’t miss the action

The Sydney Film Festival takes place from 5 to 16 June 2024 in iconic venues across Sydney, which includes the doorstep of Hub Martin Place. This makes our bar and business lounge the perfect pit stop in between screenings to catch up on emails or relax with a cocktail.

Not only do Hub Martin Place members enjoy a prime position for accessing the best of Sydney’s cinema scene, but while the festival takes place, our clubhouse team has a few sneaky surprises up their sleeves (but hush, it’s our little secret for now).

And when you’re walking down Martin Place between 5 and 16 June, keep an eye out – because you might just catch us on the giant SFFTV Outdoor Hub screen.
