1. Introduction

a. These terms and conditions (Reward Terms) apply to and govern the contractual relationship between Hub Australia Pty Ltd ABN 45 145 858 304 (Hub Australia) and the businesses who choose to participate in the rewards program set out in these Reward Terms. These Reward Terms operate in conjunction with any other terms, conditions, policies or agreements provided by Hub Australia to the business in relation to Hub Australia’s products and services. 

b. Qantas Business Rewards (QBR) is a rewards and loyalty program operated by Qantas Airways Limited ABN 16 009 661 901 (Qantas). Hub Australia is a program partner of Qantas Business Rewards.

c. Members of the Qantas Business Rewards Program who purchase Eligible Products may earn Qantas Points in accordance with these Reward Terms and the Qantas Business Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (available at www.qantasbusinessrewards.com) (QBR Terms). In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these Reward Terms and the QBR Terms, the QBR Terms will prevail.

d. These Reward Terms may be amended by us from time to time. The latest version of these Reward Terms is available from Hub Australia upon request or via our website (https://www.hubaustralia.com/terms-conditions/). It is the business’ responsibility to read and understand these Reward Terms. Any queries regarding these Reward Terms or the earning of Qantas Points with Hub Australia should be directed to Hub Australia. 

 

2. Eligibility

a. Qantas Points are not automatically credited. To earn Qantas Points on Eligible Products via Hub Australia, the business must:

  1. Be a QBR Member;
  2. Provide a valid ABN in the Hub Australia Member Portal billing details section. This ABN will be used to verify the business’ membership status with QBR; and
  3. Complete the required QBR linking step in the Hub Australia Member Portal. If the ABN is recognised as an active QBR member, the business will be presented with a form to link its QBR account to Hub Australia and must submit this form to activate Qantas Point earn.

b. If the ABN provided is not associated with a  QBR membership, the organisation will be prompted to join QBR before linking. Businesses that join QBR directly via Qantas must still return to the Hub Australia Member Portal and complete the linking step once their ABN is associated with their QBR membership.

c. A one-off join fee of $89.50 including GST normally applies to become a QBR Member. However, this fee is waived when joining via this link (“https://www.qantas.com/au/en/business-rewards/join.html?code=PFHUB”)

 

3. Eligible Products

a. Eligible Products are the following Hub Australia products and services:

  1. Flexible Memberships (Flexi Lounge, Flexi Lite, Flexi City, Flexi National; Flexi Teams); 
  2. Day Offices; 
  3. Day Passes; 
  4. Serviced Meeting Spaces (room hire only):and
  5. Business Addresses

 

4. Earning Qantas Points

a. Qantas Points will only be earned on Eligible Products once the eligibility above steps set out above have been completed.

b.Eligible businesses will earn 1 Qantas Point for every $1 spent on an Eligible Product. For example, if a business purchases a Hub Day Office for $1,000, the business will earn 1000 Qantas Points.

c. Qantas Points earned on Eligible Products will only be credited to the business’ QBR account within 30 days’ after the eligible purchase or booking has taken place and the corresponding invoice has been fully paid. If any transaction that has generated Qantas Points is subsequently refunded, cancelled, credited, or reversed (in whole or in part), Hub Australia reserves the right to reverse or deduct the corresponding Qantas Points from the business’s QBR account.

d. From time to time, Hub Australia may offer additional bonus Qantas Points as detailed on our website or communicated separately.

e. Hub Australia reserves the right to deny or revoke the crediting of Qantas Points at any time if it reasonably determines that Qantas Points were improperly obtained or erroneously credited to the business’ QBR account.

 

5. Variations and Changes

a. Hub Australia may implement any changes (whether material or otherwise) to these Reward Terms including changes to:

  1. how Qantas Points are earned in relation to Eligible Products;
  2. what products and services are considered an Eligible Product;
  3. restrictions, conditions and eligibility to earn Qantas Points under these Reward Terms.

b. The Program Partner will inform Members of material changes to these Reward Terms and where such changes will reduce the number of Qantas Points offered to the business, when possible, give the business at least 30 days’ notice.

 

6. Termination or Suspension 

a. Hub Australia may suspend or terminate these Reward Terms, giving the business at least 60 days’ notice of such termination or suspension, except if the Qantas Business Rewards Program ceases to operate, in which case the Reward Terms will cease immediately.

 

7. Personal Information

a. Personal information collected in connection with the rewards program set out in these Reward Terms will be managed in accordance with Hub Australia’s Privacy Policy [https://www.hubaustralia.com/privacy-policy/]. 

 

8. Taxation

a. Hub Australia recommends that the business consults their accountant or tax adviser to ensure that they understand possible tax (including fringe benefits tax) implications, if any, related to their earning and use of Qantas Points under these Rewards Terms.

b. Each Member acknowledges and agrees that the Hub Australia and Qantas will not be responsible and shall not have any liability for any tax or fringe benefits tax or other tax arising from the business’ participation in the Qantas Business Rewards Program or receipt of Qantas Points.

9. Limitation of Liability

The business acknowledges and agrees that:

a. Qantas (and not Hub Australia) is responsible for performance of the QBR program, subject to the QBR Terms; and 

b. subject to Hub Australia’s compliance with these Reward Terms, Hub Australia will have no liability whatsoever to any business who chooses to participate in the rewards program set out in these Reward Terms for any loss or damage that the business suffers as a result of any representation, act or omission of Qantas (or any of its associated or related entities or their respective employees, contractors, suppliers, partners, agents or service providers) in connection with the QBR program, including any loss or damage a business suffers as a result of any changes which Qantas makes to the QBR program or the associated QBR Terms.
